ABOUT CLAUDIA
Claudia is an intuitive painter who currently lives in the North Georgia mountains. Her degree in Fine art included two years of study in New York, one year in Florence, Italy, and the final two years at Indiana University.
MY PHILOSOPHY
I believe that the creative process is an invitation to listen and respond to the unfolding of the true self. An invisible, eternal, and fully alive presence that breathes life into being in each moment.
For me, the act of painting is a response to an interior journey. It is an uncharted path. It is a path of discovery and trust. Of being lost and found. Of living between the known and the unknown. Ultimately a path of healing and integration.
It is an act of courage to put color, line, and shape on the page in an effort to communicate the deepest longings of the soul.
Making art is like looking in a mirror and being challenged to love what I see.
